The Department of Marine Resources has been commended for its contribution to the fisheries sector in sr. Kitts.
Speaking at the 13th Meeting of the Caribbean Fisheries Forum on Thursday, Minister of Agriculture Hon. Eugene Hamilton who assumed the chairmanship of the CRFM Ministerial Council, thanked the Department for the work that it has been doing.
He outlined some of their accomplishments.
Minister Hamilton said such accomplishments should be highlighted to show the strides being made as the region endeavours to improve the sustainability and management of the fisheries sector.
The Caribbean Regional Fisheries Mechanism Council meeting took place on June 13th and 14th at the St. Kitts Marriot Resort.
