On Tuesday, Hon Eugene Hamilton presented more than forty backpacks with school items to children of the Dean Glasford Primary school.
According to a release after learning that there were forty children who were still in need despite the many back to school programs Minister Hamilton secured additional packages with the help of friends from Miami.
Deputy Headmistress Shelana Barzey was on hand to meet Minister Hamilton and assemble a group of children to share in this event.
Hamilton is the Parliamentary Representative for Constituency where the Dean Glasford Primary school is located.
The minister invited the students to make good use of the items as he wished them another successful school year.
A week ago Minister Hamilton presented an infrared thermometer to assist the school in observing Covid protocols.
The students and teacher expressed gratitude to Minister Hamilton who as parliamentary representative is serving his third term
