(ZIZ)– Police are trying to find out what led up to a man being found dead at The Robert L Bradshaw International Airport on Sunday.
Dead is Askeo Williams of new Road.
According to police reports Williams’ mother reported him missing on Sunday morning.
The police and the St. Christopher Air and Seaport Authority (SCASPA) launched investigations and found his body trapped in an elevator shaft at the airport on Sunday morning at about 11 o’clock.
Officials say they are uncertain how long he was trapped there.
The fire department was called in and they used the Jaws of Life and a fork lift to pry open the elevator.
SCASPA and the police are conducting separate investigations into the matter.
