Media Professionals, Entertainment Industry Players And Creatives Engage In Discussions At PACE Meet And Greet

Creatives, Entertainers, Media Professionals and Service Providers across St. Kitts and Nevis showed up in their numbers at a meet and greet social event hosted by the Professional Association for Creativity & Entertainment (PACE) organisation at Jam Rock Restaurant in Frigate Bay on Wednesday night.

According to its Facebook page, PACE is an organisation advocating for the advancement of arts and entertainment in the Federation of St. Kitts & Nevis.

As the new Ministry of Entertainment & Talent Development had been established, a number of stakeholders within the Creative Arts and Entertainment industries met and decided to create a Non-Government organisation.

The organisation which is now in its preliminary phase invited these professionals to socialize and engage in discussions that seek to improve the entertainment industry in the federation.

During the event, four members of the PACE steering committee delivered presentations. Creative Entrepreneur Desi Brown spoke on the structure of the organization , radio host and entrepreneur Maurice EK Flanders spoke on the need to establish a non-governmental organisation in the Entertainment industry while promoter Amali Amory presented an overview of the project.

Entrepreneurs Brandon Cranston and Zachary Getz were also introduced as members of the PACE steering committee.

At the end of the social event, a question and answer segment allowed guests to air concerns and share ideas.

Sound engineers, dancers, graphic designers, promoters, singers, dj’s, media professionals and many other creatives were in attendance. Newly announced Chairman of Carnival, Shannon Hawley was also present.

Sound Engineer and entrepreneur Azem Bailey chaired the event.
