Basseterre, St. Kitts, September 20 , 2020 (ZIZ News):As part of their Independence activities On Saturday St. Georges Anglican Mothers’ Union prepared and served lunch to the residents of the St. Christopher Children’s Home.
In a brief ceremony at the home Laverne Brooks of the Mothers’ Union explained that in keeping with the Resilience aspect of the Independence theme they modified their normal Independence events to fall in line with Covid-19 guidelines.
She also encouraged everyone to get involved in volunteer activities.
House Mother Stacey Huggins of the Children’s home thanked the Mothers’ Union for their generosity and wished them all the best in the future.
