The Department of Sports in Nevis successfully launched the inaugural Nevis Club Run Series on Saturday, September 21st, with impressive turnout from local clubs, teams, and individual runners across multiple categories.
Sponsored by Sol and Reliable Motors Ltd., the opening race began at the entrance of Cotton Ground and followed the island’s main road before culminating at Reliable Motors in Charlestown. The event drew enthusiastic participation from athletes of all ages and skill levels.
According to organizers, the series serves two primary objectives: boosting fitness and endurance levels among athletes across all sporting disciplines while fostering a broader culture of health and fitness throughout the community.
The initiative represents a strategic approach to athletic development on Nevis, targeting both competitive athletes seeking enhanced conditioning and general public members looking to improve their wellness.
