ZIZ News — Prime Minister The Rt. Hon. Dr. Denzil Douglas says the pay increase for civil servants beginning this month is the government’s way of saying thank you for their patience and commitment over the years.
Starting this month government workers get a four percent pay hike followed by more increments over the next two years.
He also commended Premier Amory for taking the same decision for Government Workers in Nevis.
The pay increase follows years of a wage freeze for government workers as part of national cost cutting measures.
