BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, JULY 14TH 2011 (CUOPM) – Prime Minister Hon. Dr. Denzil L. Douglas has joined the people of St. Kitts and Nevis in congratulating the newly-crowned Miss Carival, Iantavian Queeley.

Prime Minister Douglas extended congratulations on his Tuesday morning radio programme “Ask the Prime Minister.”

The reigning National Carnival Queen, Iantavian Queeley, on July 2nd won the 2011 Miss Carival Pageant in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

Miss Queeley impressed the judges and the crowd taking the crown and winning four segments – Miss Photogenic, Best Evening Wear, Best Talent, and Best Swimwear.

Prime Minister Douglas also used the opportunity to congratulate the St. Kitts-Nevis Netball Association for having won the OECS Championship.
