Brussels, Belgium: Prime Minister Hon. Dr. Terrance Drew held productive discussions with Executive Vice-President of the European Commission, Teresa Ribera, as St. Kitts and Nevis continues to deepen engagement with key international partners on matters of mutual importance.
Drew travelled to Europe this weekend to participate in a series of high-level engagements aimed at advancing the Federation’s international partnerships and climate resilience agenda. Prime Minister Drew is in Brussels, Belgium, where he will attend meetings focused on matters of mutual interest and international cooperation. He will then proceed to Berlin, Germany, to participate in the Climate Mobility Forum.
Drew also engaged in high-level discussions with Ms. Delphine Pronk, Managing Director for the Americas at the European External Action Service, and other senior European Union officials in Brussels.
The engagement reflected the continued strength of the relationship between St. Kitts and Nevis and the European Union and provided an opportunity to reinforce longstanding ties built on cooperation, partnership, and mutual understanding.
These meetings form part of the Prime Minister’s ongoing engagements in Brussels aimed at advancing cooperation, fostering innovation, and exploring opportunities that support the Federation’s long-term development and sustainability goals.
The Prime Minister will be accompanied by Permanent Secretary in the Prime Minister’s Office, Ms. Naeemah Hazelle; Ambassador to UNESCO, Dr. David Doyle and Press Secretary, Mr. Javon Liburd.
