Police monitoring minors at night

ZIZ News — Police Commissioner Celvin Walwyn says the police will be stepping up their efforts to monitor children on the road at nights.

He told ZIZ news that officers will be looking out for minors who can’t explain why they’re out late at night.

The commissioner said “and if you’re under sixteen and it is after ten o’clock and you’re in a place and you can’t explain why you’re there the officer will pick you up and take you to the police station and have your parents come and get you.”

Commissioner Walwyn said previously officers were not enforcing this law but now they’re aiming to change that.
