Escaped Prisoner Ranel Carmichael |
Members of the security forces have launched a massive manhunt in search of an escaped prisoner. The escaped prisoner is Ranel Carmichael of Rawlins Village, Nevis.
He is 23 years old, 5 feet eleven inches tall, weighs 147 pounds with a dark complexion.
According to a police statement, on Tuesday Carmichael and other prisoners were working at the compound of the Needsmust power station when he went to the bathroom at about 2:40 pm and made his escape.
Carmichael has been living in Nevis for the past three years before his imprisonment and according to the statement he’s likely to return to the areas where he lived while he’s on the run. The police are seeking the help of the general public in the finding and capturing the escaped prisoner.
