(ZIZ News) — On Saturday 20th June 2015 about 10:10 am Forensic Pathologist Dr. Valery Alexandrou performed an autopsy on the body of the late Everette Henry Battice 25 years old of Keys Village at the Joseph N France General Hospital mortuary, and concluded that death was due to multiple gunshot wounds.
The body was then handed over to the family members for funeral arrangements.
In other News: An investigator at the Frigate Bay Police Station is investigating the circumstances by which a traffic accident occurred at the entrance of Marriott Hotel parking lot on Saturday 20th June 2015 about 6:58 pm, which resulted in two (2) being transported to the hospital.
Initial investigations revealed that motor car PA5568 driven by Abiola Abisola of Cades Bay, Nevis was travelling from the Marriott parking lot to the Frigate Bay Beach, and when she was about to turn onto the Zenway Blvd, she lost control of the vehicle and ran into the Marriott Hotel wall.
Abiola Abisola and the passenger. Trecia Williams of Craddock Road, Nevis were both transported to the Joseph N France General Hospital by EMS as a result of the injuries they sustained.
Also: An investigator at the St. Paul Police Station is investigating the a report of a house fire at at St. Paul Village which occurred on Saturday 20th June 2015 about 3:42 pm.
Initial investigations revealed that the home of Fiona Smithen and Glenroy Gumbs which is situated at Willet Extension was discovered on fire by neighbours. The neighbours extinguished the fire, however, the Sandy Point Branch of the St. Kitts and Nevis Fire and Rescue Services Department (STNFRSD) attended the scene and ensure that the fire was completely extinguished and conducted their assessment of the scene.
A number of house hold items were damaged by the fire, the cause of the fire is unknown at this time, but, arson is suspected.
