(ZIZ News)– Joseph Belgrove of Fountain Village was formally arrested and charged for Cultivation of Cannabis, which was committed on 13th November 2014.

In other news, The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force with its initiative to reduce and prevent crime with the Federation conducted Operation Flush Down. This Joint operation was held on 12th November 2014 in Nevis, with members of Task Force Unit, CID, Crime Scene Unit and Violent Crime Unit between the hours of 3:00am and 6:30am.

A number of search warrants were executed on premises for controlled drugs, firearms, ammunitions and stolen goods, along with stop and search procedure, which lead to the arrests of the following persons.

Delano Brown, Curt Brown and Lecia Jeffers of Cotton Ground were formally arrested and charged for Possession of Cannabis and Obstruction, which were committed on 12th November 2014.

Mancel Roberts of Maynard’s Ground was formally arrested and charged for Possession of Cannabis which was committed on 12th November 2014.

A juvenile was formally arrested and charged for Possession of Cannabis, which was committed on 12th November 2014

Calvin Samuel of Fothergills, Gingerland was formally arrested and charged for Larceny, which was committed between 5th and 6th November 2014 at Charlestown.

During the operation, forty six cannabis (46) plants were uprooted from an empty piece of land in Cotton Ground and taken into police custody.
