Project Harmony

Basseterre, St. Kitts, February 21st, 2021 (ZIZ News) A local musician and arranger is using the power of music to bring people across the region together and raise spirits in a difficult time.

Clyde Richardson is the founder of Project Harmony which brings musicians from all over the world together virtually to perform acapella pieces.

He said it all started with an viral internet challenge.

The songs have been mainly jazz arrangements and Mr. Richardson says they’ve been getting a positive response.

He said the experience of musicians coming together and creating the pieces has served to counteract the isolation some persons are feeling during the Covid-19 pandemic.

As for the future, Mr. Richardson says they are just enjoying making music but an album may not be out of the question.
