The Rams Village Superstars FC went head to head with the Platinum FC (St. Lucia) in the CONCACAF Caribbean Club Shield Tournament that was held in Curacao on Sunday,
April 7 2019. The team walked away with a 2-1 victory over the Platinum Football Club.
Following Sunday’s win and in a post on their Facebook page, the team extended thanks to their fans and supporters while also adding how proud they felt to represent their “beloved country and Village Community”. The team statement continued, “We’ll try to make them proud. Believe in us because these players need you much more than you think.” We truly appreciate the support”
Goal scorers Kimaree Rogers and Tahir Hanley also used the opportunity to express gratitude to all those persons who supported the team during the Club Championship tournament.
