Basseterre, St. Kitts, July 20, 2020 (ZIZ News): The process for nationals of St. Kitts and Nevis abroad to be repatriated will soon be digitized.
This is according to Chairman of the National COVID-19 Task Force, Abdias Samuel who was speaking at Friday’s NEOC briefing in the NEMA Conference room.
He said the decision to digitize the repatriation process stems from it being a challenge and the digitization will help to provide persons with a process that is easy to use and efficient.
“One of the challenges that we are having right now is with the repatriation process so in discussion with our I.T personnel who is on the task force, we have decided that we are going to digitize this process and to make it more user-friendly and efficient.”
Samuel said that once the digitized process is up and running persons will be notified so that they can use it to come back to the federation.
