BASSETERRE: Two primary schools have emerged as early leaders in the St. Kitts-Nevis-Anguilla National Bank Primary School Football Competition, each maintaining perfect records through four matches.
In Zone A, Saddlers Primary School sits atop the table with an impressive 12 points, having won all four matches without conceding a single loss or draw. The team has demonstrated remarkable offensive prowess, scoring 28 goals while allowing just five, giving them a commanding goal difference of plus-23.
Beach Allen Primary trails in second place, also with 12 points from four victories, though their scoring has been more modest with 12 goals for and four against. Sandy Point Primary occupies third position with nine points from three wins in three matches played.
Meanwhile, Zone B sees St. Pauls Primary dominating with an identical perfect record of four wins from four matches and 12 points. Their attacking display has been even more spectacular, netting 38 goals while conceding only three, resulting in an extraordinary plus-35 goal difference.
Newton Ground Primary sits second with 10 points from three wins and one draw across four matches, scoring 13 goals and allowing four.
At the bottom of both zones, several schools remain winless. In Zone A, Tucker Clarke and Deane Glasford have yet to earn a point after three matches each. Zone B’s cellar dwellers include Bronte Welsh, Dr. William Connor, and Maurice Hillier Memorial, all without victories through three matches.
The competition, organized by the St. Kitts Department of Sports, continues to showcase the football talents of the federation’s youngest players.
