Basseterre, St. Kitts, October 17th , 2020 (ZIZ News): Sasha Herbert is 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗢𝗳 𝗦𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝘂𝗴𝗮𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝘀 𝟰𝟵
The St. Kitts-Nevis National Carnival Committee (SKNNCC), under the leadership of the Hon. Jonel Powell, Minister of Education, Youth, Sports and Culture, conducted an open slogan competition which ended on Thursday 15th October.
The following criteria applied:
- Inclusive of the year of the Sugar Mas we are celebrating
- Clean
- Short
- Catchy
- Reflecting the spirit of Sugar Mas
Two Hundred and fifty (250) innovative and creative entries were submitted.
The SKNNCC announced that 𝐌𝐬. 𝐒𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐚 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐭 is this year’s Slogan Competition Winner with her slogan capturing the essence of this year’s Sugar Mas:-
“𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝘂𝗴𝗮𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝘀 𝟰𝟵”
Ms. Herbert will receive EC$500.00.
