BASSETERRE: St. Kitts has been crowned Leeward Islands Senior Men’s Mixed Format Champions, dominating the competition with four wins and one draw from five matches in a tournament that showcased the island’s cricket resurgence at Warner Park Cricket Stadium.
The championship was sealed following a title clash against Antigua & Barbuda at Warner Park Stadium on October 31st and November 1st. Captain Terrance Warde led a talented squad including Kenneth Cameron Pennyfeather, Mikyle Louis, Jeremiah Louis, Larry Audain, Kunal Tilokani, wicketkeeper Eirette Richards, De-Antre Drew, Keon Harding, Tariq Newman, Clayton Skeete, Rasheed Eddy, Caiden Francis, Kasim Challenger, Tristan Hanley, and Sheno Berridge.
Mikyle Louis delivered the performance of a lifetime, amassing 592 runs from six innings. Louis accomplished what no one else has achieved – four consecutive centuries in the 2025 Leeward Islands Senior Men’s Tournament. His historic scores included 109 not out versus Montserrat, 115 against St. Maarten, 170 versus Nevis, and 108 against Anguilla. In his fifth match, he fell just short with 90 against Antigua.
“It’s a mix of youth and experience. We have a few youngsters making a forward step, and we’re going to utilise them as much as possible while also giving the senior guys an opportunity for bigger and better things, such as Leeward Islands selection,” Warde said before the tournament.
The championship represents more than just a title – it’s a statement that St. Kitts cricket is rising stronger than ever.
