St. Kitts Secures Victory as Louis Reaches Five Centuries

BASSETERRE: St. Kitts claimed a convincing 42-run victory over Anguilla in a two-day format match at St. Paul’s Sporting Complex, with Mikyle Louis extending his remarkable century streak to five consecutive hundreds across all formats.

Louis scored 108 in St. Kitts’ first innings of 165 all out, despite Jaidel Richardson’s impressive 6-wicket haul for Anguilla. St. Kitts’ bowlers responded brilliantly, dismissing Anguilla for just 122 as captain Terrance Warde claimed 5 wickets and Rasheed Eddy took 4.

Enforcing the follow-on, St. Kitts declared their second innings at 188 for 8 in 33.4 overs, with Larry Audain top-scoring with 60 and De-Antre Drew adding 34. Mark Gokarran took 4 wickets and Chamiqueko Landerfort grabbed 3 for Anguilla.

Chasing 232 for victory, Anguilla fought hard with Dimitri Adams scoring 68 and Jaidel Richardson contributing 53, but were bowled out for 178. Jeremiah Louis claimed 4 wickets to seal St. Kitts’ comprehensive victory.

At Warner Park Stadium, Nevis dominated Sint Maarten with an innings and 146-run victory. After bowling Sint Maarten out for 103, Nevis declared at 403 for 7 in 78.3 overs. Colin Archibald smashed 125, Carlon Tuckett contributed 110, and Jaime Cornelius added 61.

Forced to follow on, Sint Maarten managed 154 in their second innings, with Daniel Doram (42) and Matthew Miller (40) offering resistance. Jaden Carmichael took 4 wickets and Onaje Amory claimed 3.

At Conaree, the match between Antigua & Barbuda and Montserrat ended in a draw after Antigua posted a massive 570 for 7 declared.
