Basseterre, St. Kitts, August 31, 2020 (ZIZ News):We have more information concerning a traffic accident near Caribbean Cinemas on Sunday that left 2 persons injured.
According to a police source the incident occurred at about 11:20 am on Sunday and involved a motor car PB 904 driven by Clive Nias of West Farm Estate and a pick-up truck P2641 driven by Wingrove Vaughn of Lower Monkey Hill.
The police say the truck was travelling north along the road from the abattoir and the car was travelling west along the Island Main Road.
According to the police, when the pick-up truck was crossing the main road going north the car collided with the right rear section of the truck.
The truck driver and passenger were taken to the hospital for minor injuries.
The driver was treated and discharged. No further information on the status of the unidentified passenger.
