The general public is asked to take note that as of Monday 13th July 2020 persons will be able to physically visit inmates at Her Majesty’s Prison. Inmates will be allowed one visitor to their request during their visiting period. The visiting periods will be on Mondays to Fridays from 8:00 a.m to 3:30 p.m
The visitors will be allowed to visit inmates on the following days:
Remands on Mondays and Wednesdays with the inmates surnames beginning from A – L on Mondays and M – Z on Wednesdays.
Convicted on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. The inmates surnames beginning from A – H on Tuesdays, Thursdays I – P and on Fridays Q – Z.
The general public are asked to take note that a valid photo ID must be presented and that strict COVID – 19 protocols will be enforced that is: persons must be wearing mask at all times, social distancing must be adhered to, they must be sanitized upon entering the prison and their temperature must be taken with a thermal thermometer at the point of entry of the prisons. Persons are also asked to leave all unnecessary items on the outside. The prison is not accepting any items inside at this moment, however, persons are still allowed to deposit funds onto inmates commissary account at the clubhouse next to H.M.Prison.
