Basseterre, St. Kitts, October 2, 2023 (ZIZ Newsroom/Press Release): The police have released the autopsy results for 32 year old Deonjay Finley of Bird Rock who died on September 23.
The autopsy was performed by resident pathologist Dr. Adrian Nunez. According to Dr. Nunez the cause of Mr Finley’s death was extreme internal hemorrhaging into the chest & abdominal cavities.
According to a police report, on the night of September 23rd Mr. Finley was found lying in the road along Old Road Bay on St. Kitts.
He was taken to the Joseph N. France General Hospital for treatment where it was discovered that he had multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body.
Owing to the extent of his injuries, he died during emergency surgery.

Basseterre, St. Kitts, August 24 2023 (ZIZ Newsroom/Press Release): Police have released the autopsy results of Elvis Maynard, following his sudden death earlier this week.
According to the autopsy report which was conducted by Resident Pathologists, Dr. Adrian Nunez and Dr. Naudica Phillip, Maynard died of Severe Bilateral Bronchopneumonia – a type of lung disease – and Pulmonary Emphysema, a chronic lung condition.
On August 21st, Mr. Maynard was found lying motionless on the ground in his yard. He was examined and pronounced deceased at the scene.
Maynard was 55 years old.

The autopsy was done on July 10th, 2023, by Resident Pathologist, Dr. Adrian Nuñez.
Dr. Nuñez concluded that death was as a result of hypovolemic shock due to multiple gunshot wounds to the body.
According to reports, On July 4th, 2023, Mr. Rogers was shot multiple times by armed assailants in Osbourne Street in Cayon. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Basseterre, St. Kitts, June 15 2023 (ZIZ Newsroom): The police have released the autopsy results of homicide victim Alden ‘OJ’ Maynard.
Resident pathologist Dr. Adrian Nunez performed an autopsy on the body of 47 year old Maynard of Shadwell on June 14th.
Dr. Nunez concluded that death was as a result of Severe cranioencephalic trauma, which is brain damage, due to a gunshot wound to the head.
According to reports, on the morning of June 6th, 2023, Mr. Maynard was shot while driving along the F.T. Williams Highway.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
On June 10th the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force arrested and charged Keith Godwin Prickley Pear Alley, with Maynard’s murder.
]]>Basseterre, St. Kitts, May 28, 2023 (ZIZ Newsroom/Press Release): The police have released the findings of the autopsy of the body of former teacher, Oswald Elliott, who was found dead in his home last week.
The autopsy was conducted on Friday by Resident Pathologist Dr. Adrian Nunez. The report indicates that death was due to multi-organ failure.
The police say the cause of the organ failure is still under investigation.
On the morning of May 23, 69-year-old Oswald Elliott was found in his home at Nevis Street by a family member.
He was unresponsive. The district medical officer pronounced him deceased on the scene.

]]>Basseterre, St. Kitts, May 28, 2023 (ZIZ Newsroom/Press Release): The police have released the results of an autopsy performed on the body of 15-year-old Lashley Orlando Weekes, Jr of Saddlers Village.
The autopsy was done on Wednesday, by Resident Pathologist, Dr. Adrian Nunez.
Dr. Nunez concluded that death was a result of craniocervical trauma due to a motor vehicle accident.
According to police, On May 19th, Mr Weekes, Jr. was the victim of a vehicular accident in Halfway Tree of St. Kitts.
The incident occurred on Friday at around 8:15PM .
Preliminary reports indicate that motor truck PA-2893, owned and driven by Morgan Wyatt of The Alley, Sandy Point, ran off the island main road and collided with a house owned by Desmond Morton, located on the seaside of the road. Mr Wyatt was travelling in the direction of Sandy Point with three passengers, namely Lashley Weekes, Tijay Matthew, and ‘Stachie’ of Saddlers. Mr Wyatt overtook two (2) parked vehicles and rapidly swerved back to the seaside lane to avoid oncoming traffic.
This resulted in his truck veering off the road and colliding with Mr Morton’s house. Mr. Matthew and ‘Stachie’, being the passengers in the truck’s bed, fell off upon impact.
Mr Weekes was the passenger inside the truck. Regrettably, he was pronounced dead at the scene. Law enforcement and Emergency Services responded to the scene and Mr’s Wyatt, Matthew, and ‘Stachie’ were transported to the Joseph N. France General for treatment of minor injuries indicative of an accident of this nature.

]]>Basseterre, St. Kitts, May 11, 2023 (ZIZ Newsroom/Press Release): The police have released the results of an autopsy performed on the body of 27-year-old Shakel Campbell of Craddock Road, Nevis.
The autopsy was done on Tuesday, by Resident Pathologist, Dr. Naudica Phillip.
Dr. Phillip concluded that death was a result of hypovolemic shock due to multiple gunshot wounds to the chest and back.
According to police, on the night of May 3rd, 2023, the RSCNPF responded to a report of someone being shot in the Craddock Road area.
Upon arrival, Police found Mr. Campbell motionless and seated in an upright position in his car. Further examination revealed that he had been shot several times about the body.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.

]]>Basseterre, St. Kitts, April 4th, 2021 (ZIZ News) An autopsy that was performed on the body of 38-year-old Keon Fyfield of Newtown has revealed that death was as a result of an embolism.
Police say that on March 29, Resident Pathologist, Dr. Adrian Nuñez concluded that death was due to a pulmonary embolism because of prolonged bed rest, as a consequence of severe head trauma with cerebral concussion. This followed a vehicular accident in the St. Peter’s area on March 8th, a matter police are investigating.

Death according to the Resident Pathologist, Dr. Nunez, was as a result of Severe Cerebral Edema, Right Hemorrhagic Brain Infarction due to Acute Drug Intoxication. The drugs found in elevated levels in her system were Marijuana and Cocaine. No foul play is suspected.
