BASSETERRE: The SKNFA Elvis “Star” Browne Women’s League got off to a high-scoring start over the weekend, with eighteen goals scored across the opening three matches.
Bath United opened the season with a four-one victory over Security Forces, giving the Nevis-based club an early three points.
Cayon Rockets also made a strong start, cruising to a seven-nil win over St. Paul’s United.
And in the final match of the opening round, Newtown United matched that scoreline, blanking Old Road Lady Jets seven-nil to cap an impressive opening weekend.
With three convincing victories and plenty of goals, the women’s league has made an exciting start to the new season.
