Football Sugarboyz Move To Next Round Despite Loss To T&T

The St. Kitts and Nevis Sugar Boyz, will move forward to the next round in the FIFA World cup qualifying CONCACAF series, despite losing to Trinidad and Tobago, in the Dominican Republic, on the evening of Tuesday 8th June.

The Trinidad and Tobago team scored twice, without a response from the Sugar Boyz.

Duane Muckette scored in the 36th minute and Khaleem Hyland, tapped in another goal in the 74th minute.

Despite the loss however, the St. Kitts –Nevis team, remains at the top of the Group F table and will progress to the next round of matches.

St. Kitts and Nevis topped the group with 9 points; Trinidad and Tobago 8; Puerto Rico 7; Guyana 3 and Bahamas 1.

Group B-Canada -12 points

Group C-Curacao-10 points

Group D-Panama -12 points

Group E- Haiti -9 points

Group F-St. Kitts and Nevis -9 points
