Former SKELEC employees receive “love baskets” on Valentines Day

Basseterre, St. Kitts, February 14, 2020 (ZIZ News): On Friday, the management and staff of the St. Kitts Electricity Company (SKELEC) spread love to six former employees by distributing “love baskets” to their homes.

Public Relations Officer at SKELEC, Gawain Fraites explained that the baskets are distributed to former employees across the island as SKELEC’s way of showing appreciation to persons who have paved the way for current employees.

Acting General Manager at SKELEC, Clement Williams said that this initiative aims to show appreciation to the persons who have contributed to the company over the years.

One of the recipients of the “love basket” and former employee of SKELEC, Eugene Heyliger said he is proud to have left a legacy at SKELEC and expressed gratitude for the kind gesture.

The other recipients include John Bowry, Gene Ward, Sandra Liburd, Olnie Browne and Raymond Rawlins
