Governor General pays homage to seniors on Centenarians’ Day

Wednesday 31st May, 2017 is CENTENARIANS’ DAY. St. Kitts presently has eleven (11) Centenarians among its citizens, four (4) males and seven (7) females.

Centenarians’ Day 2016 was celebrated by way of a Reception at Government House hosted by His Excellency The Governor-General Sir S. W. Tapley Seaton, GCMG, CVO, QC, JP for Centenarians and their relatives and caregivers.

This year 2017, His Excellency The Governor-General will be paying visits to several of the Centenarians throughout St. Kitts and will be presenting them with a Commemorative Leather Wallhanging depicting the Masquerades, the Bull, the Moko Jumbie and the Clowns, aspects of our culture with which they would be familiar.

Best wishes for a Happy Centenarians’ Day 2017 are extended to all Centenarians both in St. Kitts and Nevis.
