(ZIZ)— Minister of Labour, The Hon Patrice Nisbett has assured manufacturing executives at the industrial site that the newly legislated long service gratuity for workers will not put a strain on the businesses themselves.
“And so there is no need for any alarm,” he said. “It is something that i believe is going to boost the morale and may even raise the level of productivity of those who are employed in this particular sector.”
He says this new initiative is a sign of a promising future for the local industrial relations climate and will not put any additional burden on the employers at the industrial site.
