Sports Page—Tuesday 10th September 2013–The action was fast and furious at the ET Willet Park on the evening of Sunday 8th September when the series of matches in the Legends’ cup, hosted by the Nevis Football Association, continued.
In match one, SL Horsfords Highlights swamped Beyond Home All Stars 6 goals to 2, despite the initial competitive play of the generally more senior guys.
For the Highlights team, the fleet footed Adrian Williams knocked in 2 goals; Alvin Woods 2 and Jamal Hamilton 2.
For the All stars team, the goal scorers were Laughton Herbert and Quito Chapman with one goal each.
In match two, CCC Bath United truly gave HARD TIMES a really hard time, defeating them by a margin of 4 goals to 1.
The goal scorers for Bath United were:
Dale Farrell 2 and Alfred Taylor 2
For the HARD TIMES team, the lone goal scorer was Sean Hanley.
