Basseterre, St. Kitts – May 26, 2022 – Park Hyatt St. Kitts Christophe Harbour hosted their first Annual Colleague Health Fair on Wednesday, May 18, 2022. With a focus on caring for others so that they can be their best, Park Hyatt St. Kitts Christophe Harbour has reaffirmed its commitment to its colleagues by focusing on their wellbeing.
As the tourism industry in the Federation of St. Kitts & Nevis continues to recover from the pandemic, the Human Resources Department at Park Hyatt St. Kitts deemed it an opportune time to launch this initiative. With colleagues mentally and financially affected over the past two years, the main goals were to remind employees of the benefits available to them and provide select healthcare services at no additional cost.
In attendance were the Ministry of Health of St. Kitts & Nevis with Lake Health and Wellbeing, Department of Labour, Nagico Insurances, MASA Assist and Courts Optical.
The highlight for many colleagues were complimentary health checks by the Ministry of Health and eye examinations by Courts Optical. Colleagues also benefitted from the information provided by the Department of Labour, Nagico Insurances and MASA Assist.
“Our first Annual Health Fair was an all-day success with many colleagues in attendance, including those on scheduled time off,” said Waveney Henry, Director of Human Resources of Park Hyatt St. Kitts.
Ms. Henry also credited Resort Nurse, Ms. Jenifer Louard, for her integral role in the organization and planning of this inaugural event. The Human Resources team is excited to see the fair grow and welcomes the opportunity to partner with more service providers in the future.
