BASSETERRE: Prime Minister The Hon. Dr. Terrance Drew said he enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere at the Green Valley J’Ouvert celebrations as citizens and visitors came together for what he described as good, clean fun.
In a social media post, the Prime Minister thanked members of the security forces and the public for their cooperation in helping to maintain a safe and enjoyable event.
“Yesterday, I had the pleasure of enjoying the vibrant Green Valley J’ouvert atmosphere and seeing our people come together for good, clean fun,” the Prime Minister said.”I extend sincere thanks to our security forces and to the public for their cooperation in ensuring a safe and enjoyable jam.”
He also extended special appreciation to Mrs. Morton and the Green Valley Committee for their hard work, dedication and commitment in making the celebration possible.
