Sports Page — Coach Jamir of the St.James Primary School is of the view that his school can win the B division when the Interprimary sports meet comes around on April 1st.
The coach was speaking while having his young guards involved in intense training exercises at the school grounds, last week.
Even though he personally previously attended the St.Thomas’ Primary School as a youngster, Jamir has placed his heart and soul into the job of ensuring that the school does well in all sporting activities.
He has already led them to the B division championship in the Primary schools Football tournament and now feels that his 28 member squad will perform creditably for the ‘mini Olympics.’
On the day, he was working on their sprinting and long distance skills and hopes to throw in a few runs on the beach before the big day.
