ZBC is seeking a suitably qualified person to fill the position of Sales and Marketing Manager

The applicant must be highly motivated, organized, and have exceptional interpersonal skills in order to communicate effectively with the team and advertisers.

The applicant must be able to work as a member of a team. He/she must be able to develop the strategic imperatives of the department in conjunction with the General Manager, and Company Strategic Plans by researching and developing marketing opportunities and plans; implementing sales plans and managing staff.

Responsibilities:

• Achieve marketing sales and operational objectives by; preparing and completing actions plans;

• Meet marketing and sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; prepare annual budgets etc.

• Identify marketing opportunities by identifying consumer requirements; define market, competitor’s share and competitor’s strength and weaknesses.

Qualifications:

–At least a degree in Sales and Marketing or Management related field.

–Five (5) years work experience in a Sales and Marketing Environment.

– Financial Planning and Strategy, Marketing Concepts, Positioning, People Management, Territory Management, Sales Planning, Competitive Analysis, Understanding the Customer, Product Development, Client Relationships, Creative Services.

– Strong track record in revenue performance in Sales, while maintaining and managing cost of sales and strong background in Strategic Account Management.

– Requires valid driver’s license

Qualities:

• Capable of leading ZBC into the new era of service delivery

• Great communication and interpersonal skills

• Excellent troubleshooting skills

• Must be a critical thinker, able to adapt quickly to change

• Must be computer literate
