When the Pannal team batted they were in dire straits at one point needing some 53 runs from 28 balls. Phillip strode to the crease and pummeled the bowling to all parts of the Park, hitting a crucial 33 not out to help his team to win with a ball to spare.
His fellow team mates rushed onto the field and lifted him off as the ultimate hero.
The two teams are two of the top teams in the league.
