ST THOMAS, Jamaica – The body of a 14-year-old girl was found this morning with several chop wounds in the Newlands Housing Scheme of St Thomas.
Reports are that at about 4:30 am relatives found the child’s body a few metres from her house.
“The child was still in her school blouse, it appeared she was preparing for school,” a source from the parish told OBSERVER ONLINE.
The incident has triggered shock and anger in the parish.
