CSS takes championship honors

The now annual Basketball showdown between the Charlestown Secondary and Gingerland Secondary School teams, took place between the 2nd and 4th December with the CSS team completing victory in game two of the three match series, having won two consecutive games.

Monday 2nd December:

CSS 66 GSS 53

Robert Browne 11 pts; 4 rebounds 2 steals;

GSS—Ozeal Collins  19 pts; 2 rebounds; 4 steals; 2 blocks

Derrick Liburd 14 pts; 3 rebounds; 2 assists

Jamani Elliot 12 pts; 10 rebounds; 1 steal and 1 block

Wednesday 4th December:

CSS 48 GSS 28

CSS: Kadel Hodge 10 pts;  1 rebound; 2 assists; 6 steals

Kareem parry 13 pts; 1 assist; 2 steals

GSS: Darwin challenger 8 pts; 1 block
