France: Air Algerie flight vanished over Mali

PARIS (AP) — France’s transport minister says the Air Algerie flight carrying 116 people vanished over northern Mali.

The flight was traveling from Burkina Faso to Algeria’s capital when it disappeared from radar early Thursday.

Transport Minister Frederic Cuvillier spoke Thursday from a crisis center set up in the French Foreign Ministry.
