Malcolm Guishard Basketball League Set To Commence This Weekend

(Sports Page) The annual Malcolm Guishard Basketball league is set to commence this coming Saturday, 5th October at the Church Ground hard court. This was confirmed on Monday by President of the Nevis Basketball Association, Wanda Parry.

The league will commence with a brief opening ceremony commencing at 7pm and this will be followed by a knock out competition between the competing teams and an exhibition game between home team CG Massives of Nevis and QUAKERS out of St.Kitts.

Ms Parry is convinced that the league will produce its usual excitement as the other teams will be aiming to dethrone reigning champions, CG REBELS of Cotton Ground.
