Mr. Big Pepe takes a rest for upcoming Horse race

ZIZ Sports…June 15 2012 — Exciting horse race action returns to the Indian Castle race track this coming Sunday 17th June. That’s when the Nevis Turf and Jockey Club will host its Fathers’ Day meet.

There may be one major disappointment for the horse race fans however as recent star of the track, Mr. Big Pepe will be rested for the event. Since winning in the last race and having won on consecutive occasions over the last few meets, Owner Allister Thompson had indicated that the powerful horse will be rested for the Culturama meet in August.

President of the Club, Emmanuel Jeffers however stated on Thursday that there will still be plenty of excitement in store for the fans as popular horses such as DE SHE DEVIL and EDDIE THE SPOUSE, under new owner, Arthur Sharpe will be on the track along with some new horses which may well create a few upsets.

The action kicks off at 3.00 pm and there will be lots of food and drink on sale and the usual house DJ for entertainment throughout.

Cover charge is $20.00 for adults and $10.00 for teenagers. Children under 12 years of age will get in free of cost.
