Sports Page — The Nevis Academy players acquitted themselves exceptionally well on Wednesday 8th October in a B division fixture in the ongoing Primary Schools’ Football league on Nevis.
They came up against the Ivor Walters Primary school team and demonstrated from very early in the game that they would be no walk over.
The Ivor Walters team scored three goals but the most memorable moment of the game was when the Nevis Academy’s Ayinde George ran through and belted the ball into the back of the net. One would have thought that it was the Independence celebrations all over again! The Nevis Academy support crew was ecstatic.
