Sports Notices
1. The Department of Youth and Sports is inviting persons to register for the upcoming annual summer camp
Forms are available at the Department’s office upstairs Reliable Motors and at the Sport Museum. Registration fee is $25.00 per sport.
The following activities/training programs will be held:
Netball: July 14-18
Cricket: July 14-18
Basketball: July 14-18
Football: July 21- August 7
Junior Golf: July 21 – August 1
Lawn Tennis: July 21- August 1
The Cricket loving public is invited out to witness the first division 50 overs competition starting this coming weekend.
2. Cricket returns to the ET Willet Park this weekend as the first division 50 overs a side league commences
There will be three teams participating in this tournament: Pennyless All Stars; Empire and Highlights Int
The schedule of matches is as follows:
Saturday July 5th—-Highlights Int v Pennyless All Stars
Sunday July 6th –Empire v Pennyless All Stars
Saturday July 12th –Empire v Highlights Int
Sunday July 13th–Finals between the two top teams
Matches will be played at the ET Willet Park commencing at 1 pm.
