Basseterre, St. Kitts, June 3, 2022 — Yesterday, Thursday, June 2, 2022, the Cayon High School conducted a seminar geared towards teaching our boys about Self Care, how to deal with their emotions, and how to set and achieve their life’s Aspirations.
The seminar, organized by the Cayon High School, in collaboration with the Ministry of Gender Affairs, is a run off of our efforts to inspire all our students and put them in the best possible position to be successful in anything they do.
As with our Girls Mentorship Program, where our girls had opportunities to interact with young successful women, so too, our boys have the pleasure to be guided by a few astute gentlemen during their group sessions.
The boys, as well as the facilitators and mentors, found that the session was well needed and should continue, as the mentorship received in this short time, was very rewarding.
We would like to thank the school’s Principal and Deputy Principal, Ms. James and Mr. Esdaille, our Guidance and Counselling Department, shepherded by Mrs. Noline Blanchard and Ms. Tracy Wattley, the Chairperson of the event, Mr. Denzil Stapleton, the school’s Environment Club, Ministries of Gender Affairs St. Kitts and Nevis, and our facilitators for being key stakeholders in our ππŽπ˜π’ 𝐔𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐑 π‚πŽππ’π“π‘π”π‚π“πˆπŽπ mentorship seminar for making this event a success…
