Sports Page — The Combermere preschool held its second annual sports meet at the VOJN Primary School’s grounds on Wednesday 18th March.
The two houses, Blue and Green, marched impressively as they went past the joint patrons, in Mr. and Mrs. Shelton Benjamin and Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Jeffers.
They wasted little time in entertaining the fair sized crowd.
They competed in the flat races; tyre races; ball and bucket; socks and shoes; sack races; lime and spoon and obstacle races among others.
Some of the parents even faced off in obstacle races of their own.
At the end of the day, Blue house proved a dominant force.
The final point standings were:
Blue house—527 points-champions
Green house—322 POINTS-second
