Dame Marcella Commemorates Third Anniversary

BASSETERRE – The Federation’s Governor-General Her Excellency Dame Marcella Liburd celebrated the third anniversary of her inauguration renewing her role to bridge the gap between office and community among family and office staff on Sunday, 3rd January.
“Her Excellency Governor General Dame Marcella Liburd GCMG JP marked the occasion with some members of staff, friends, family and the Events Committee with brunch at the Park Hyatt.
The occasion was a reflective one as Her Excellency reiterated her vision for the role and for bridging the gap between office and community,” a statement said Tuesday.
The statement noted the vision of Her Excellency “can be seen in her presence, involvement, heightened awareness of various platforms including women, sports, wellness and cultural preservation and as a real life inspiration for women and girls.
