Minister Continues Community Clean Up

BASSETERRE – Parliamentary Representative for St. Christopher 2 (Central Basseterre), Hon. Marsha T. Henderson continued her “Our Community, Our Pride” over the weekend by removing unsightly household items dumped on private lands.
“Hon. Marsha Henderson and her team headed back to Upper Thibou Avenue to push the cleanup even further. More garbage, white goods and bulk waste were cleared from the area, including tight spots that are often overlooked,” the Central Basseterre Labour Branch posted.
Residents in the area used to opportunity to dispose of unwanted articles with the blessing of the Member of Parliament, who was elected in August 2022 following the snap general elections and the fall of the Team Unity Government comprising the Peoples Action Movement (PAM), the Concerned Citizens Movement (CCM) and the People’s Labour Party (PLP).
The Central Basseterre continues to endorse the motto of Member of Parliament, Hon. Marsha Henderson: “A cleaner, healthier Central Basseterre.”
The Branch thanked “everyone who keeps showing up and helping to lift our community.”
