Old Road Ladyjets Claim Top Spot

BASSETERRE: The 2025 Elvis Star Browne Women’s League regular season has concluded with Old Road Ladyjets securing first place in the final standings.

The Ladyjets finished the campaign with 26 points from 10 matches, recording eight wins and two draws while remaining unbeaten. Their impressive attacking display saw them score 73 goals while conceding just nine, giving them a commanding goal difference of plus-64.

Cayon Rockets Women claimed second place with 25 points, just one point behind the leaders. The Rockets won eight matches and suffered only one loss, finishing with 43 goals scored and a plus-36 goal difference.

Defending champions Newtown United secured third position with 19 points from six wins. They will enter the playoffs looking to retain their title despite finishing behind the top two teams.

Security Forces FC clinched the fourth and final playoff spot with 10 points, successfully holding off a late challenge from Bath United. Their qualification marks a historic achievement as the team prepares for their first-ever playoff appearance.

Bath United finished fifth with seven points, falling three points short of the playoff positions. The final match between Bath United and St. Peters Blue Angels, originally scheduled last Saturday, was forfeited by the Blue Angels.

St. Peters Blue Angels concluded their debut season at the bottom of the table without registering a point. The team conceded 71 goals across their 10 matches while failing to score.

Attention now turns to the playoffs, where Old Road Ladyjets, Cayon Rockets Women, Newtown United, and Security Forces FC will battle for the championship title.
