St. Kitts and Nevis’ Chief Medical Officer Dr. Hazel Laws has called on residents to be vigilant in eliminating any possible sources of water that can facilitate mosquito breeding.

To combat an outbreak of mosquito borne diseases, the Ministry of Health has informed that fogging in the various communities will be taking place this week.

Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Hazel Laws says as there has been an increase in rainfall, there has been an upsurge in mosquitoes, and persons can help to decrease the mosquito population that spreads diseases such as Dengue.
