A Ride for a cause

ZIZ News — A second group of bikers are visiting the island via a cruise ship touring the island and raising awareness of Special Olympics in Georgia. USA.         This is the second visit to St. Kitts by the bikers.  The first visit for the year took place last week.

ZIZ News caught up with the group at Carambola.

Ed Christian one of the bikers said their visit is more than just a vacation.

He said  “We are just a group of friends that come together and raise money for Special Olympics. It’s a charity in the United States around the world that is raising money for intellectual disabilities and we combine our vacation with our charities so that we can help support them.”

Before visiting St. Kitts the bikers rode around St Maarten.

Christian said that they love it here and will definitely return in the future.
