ZIZ News…March 16, 2012 — Investigations into a report of Unlawful Carnal Knowledge was concluded on the 14th march 2012 when formal charges were laid against the accused. The victim of which was a twelve year old girl.

According to a Police release, the Commissioner of Police though constrained by limitations on Publication of these issues wishes to reassure the General public that all efforts are consistently being made to ensure that incidents of this nature and of domestic disputes are dealt with professionally.

Meanwhile in other police developments the Commissioner of Police is sensitizing the general public and all stake holders of the need to be more vigilant when viewing documents which are used for Identification Purposes.

Documentary Fraud though an international problem can be detected locally if the necessary guidelines for due diligence checks are consistently made coupled with other techniques being applied.

Commissioner Walwyn is urging the general public and the corporate community in Particular to contact our Agency if there is any doubt or suspicion as to the validity of documents used for the purposes of identification presented to your institutions. On the 14th of March 2012 Aracelis Gonzalez Santana was convicted for impersonation and false representation in accordance with the Passports and Travel Documents Act. This matter has led to the commencement of other investigations of fraudulent documents.
