DIGICEL celebrates 6th anniversary in St. Kitts and Nevis

BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS (December 7th, 2011) – December 2nd, 2011 marked Digicel’s sixth year of operation in St. Kitts and Nevis. To celebrate this milestone, Digicel rewarded its loyal customers in celebrations which lasted throughout the day.

The special day began with an ‘Early Bird Anniversary Sale’ at the Digicel stores in Basseterre & Charlestown, Nevis beginning at 6am and ending at 10am. Old and new customers flocked both stores to take advantage of the fantastic deals of the day. Specially selected handsets such as BlackBerry Smart Phones, Samsung and Nokia devices were on sale for Digicel’s 6th Anniversary, for as low as $49. Prepaid customers were rewarded with $6 bonus credit on their first top up of the day, while Digicel postpaid customers who paid their bill on that date received a 6% rebate on their next bill.

It was a joyous day for both the Digicel staff members and customers who visited the stores. Members of the ‘Digicel Dream Team’ were on hand to greet customers as they entered the stores and showed appreciation by presenting them all with a sweet treat. Customers were randomly selected to take part in the Digi Dip to win Digicel-branded merchandise.

Later that morning of Digicel’s 6th birthday, the celebrations continued on the streets of Basseterre for the Energy Expo where the Digicel Cash Vault was inflated. Persons who qualified thus far in the 2011 “Grab Cash This Christmas” Promotion entered the money chamber and won cash and prizes including BlackBerry handsets, supermarket shopping vouchers and free credit.
